Is anyone else bothered by the government spending in the last couple of months and then there is new bill that will likely be passed in the next few days where the government spending budget will be increased by 8%! (Let me translate this for you, they want to increase spending by billions of dollars) Now the reason this bothers me soooooo much is that the government is asking all of us to increase OUR taxes and asking us to tighten OUR bootstraps, but they aren't practicing any restraint whatsoever! What's another few billion dollars???? Wouldn't it be nice if in this tough economic time that the government would practice what they are preaching to all of us. Sacrifice for the greater good and all... Hopefully President Obama will take charge of this and veto this bill. Ok, sorry for the rant.

Deep breaths, Cindy, deep breaths. It's out of our hands and in the hands of apparently uninspired persons. Before everyone turns to Christ, my thought is that man first has to mess everything up so badly there is no other hope. Hang on for a wild and bumpy ride!
You are probably right. Not much fun though. At least there seems to be a few people who are trying to fight the good fight there in the political scene.
