I think it's safe to say that from about mid-April to mid-September is my favorite time of year. And now on September 5th it's almost over. I have such a hard time saying good bye to sunshine, evening walks, camping, BBQ's, talking to neighbors in the yard, a free schedule, long days, grass, leaves, flowers, fishing, garden ripe fruits and vegetables, the park, clear roads, sleeping in, working in the yard on a lovely evening, and all of those other wonderful summer time activities. I wish the weather were a little more like Santa Barbra. Lovely weather all year round. But, since that is never gunna happen I guess I will look forward to the holiday season and hold my breath from January to April. Here is a look back at our summer festivities (or at least the one's I haven't taken the time to blog about & some that I have).

SUMMER WENT WAY TOO FAST! My favorite time of year is the fall, I look forward to the leaves changing color, to college football GO UTES, To Utah winning BYU ;), and sweater weather :). Cute pictures! Your kids have to be some of the most beautiful kids on earth!
I love Fall for the clothing factor too. You can wear layers without getting too hot. Although, during the summer you can get away with layers at church because the AC is always so cold. And I agree with you. My kids are cute. Especially when they are in a picture. They can't move. Or scream.
Get your watermelon now, summer's almost gone. I forgot to buy one day and regretted it when we got hoome. At least we still have homegrown tomatoes for a few more weeks!
It's funny as you are sad to see summer end, we couldn't be happier. However, we do have a few months left. I remember those long cold and gloomy winters. You should join us out here in AZ!
I guess you guys are kind of like Las Vegas. Summer is winter and winter is summer. You must look forward to a change in the weather. Hear, it just seems like January, February, & March go on for eeeettteeeerrrrnnnniiiitttyyyy.
