Here fishy fishy

Bryan with his big daddy catfish hunter!
We went fishing for family home evening on Monday and had a great time. Just as we were about to go home we started getting lots of bites. Unfortunately our line was brittle and the fish kept on breaking the line. I had two really good bites and Bryan got two as well. It got pretty dark and we decided be had better get in before we couldn't find our way back to the car.

Well, that just got us more excited so, we went again yesterday. This time we brought Bryan's parents, new fishing line, and a lantern. It was kind of slow at first, but then I got our first bite and yet again he took my hook. I think maybe the knot wasn't tight enough or something. Anyway, Bryan's Dad had lots of bites but was unable to hook one (he says next time he is going to use a treble hook), Kaden caught two cute little mud cats and I had about three really good strong bites that all took my hooks, and Bryan was the grand master who brought home the big daddy catfish hunter. Bryan and the kids flexing their fishing muscles!

How fun... Fishing is a lot of fun. Are you or your kids hikers? I have recently got into hiking a lot. I definitely should come down to your neck of the woods and we can take the kids hiking! :)

That would be so fun. We could do Stewart Fall or Big Springs!
