Mom can I pleeeease do another job?

Get this Moms and Dads around the world... I have figured out a way to get my son to beg me to let him do work around the house. It's self governing (for the most part) and really easy. Are you ready for it? Kaden loves playing video games. He would play them 5 hours a day if I let him. I didn't want him to become an addict so I had to come up with a plan. Now when Kaden wants to play a video game he has to do a job before he can play. I made up some slips of paper with different jobs that give different amounts of game time depending on the difficulty. He just draws a slip of paper and does the job then Bryan or I sign it off somewhere on the slip. He can either use it immediately or he can save it for later. When Kaden wants to use it we just tear it up, throw it away, and set a timer. When time is up we usually hear this from the other room... "Mom can I pleeeease do another job?" Music to a mother's ears... Think about it for a minute....



Oh yeah! It's up there right along with pedicures and chocolate! That would be the best day ever...
